03 — Engineering principles
Decisions that come from knowing the field.
Multilingual by design
Digital Cattle Farm ships in 18 languages and Feed Mandi's customer app in 6. Push notifications arrive in the language the user chose.
Schedules live in the cloud
Pregnancy milestones, heat-return checks and reminders are worked out on the server on a schedule, so alerts arrive even if the app hasn't been opened.
Money that adds up
Bill totals, part-payments, deductions and dues are calculated on the server, and rider cash is tracked until it is settled.
Privacy in the details
Anyone can browse as a guest, but seller phone numbers are shown only to signed-in users. Listings and public profiles are reviewed before they go live.
Built for patchy networks
Rider updates are queued offline and synced later, and live tracking falls back to polling when the real-time connection drops.
Watched in production
Crash reporting and performance monitoring on the apps, so crashes and slow screens are spotted and fixed quickly.
